I found this one to be dead-on for elementary school teachers:

My first year, I complained of making less than $20K a year and a woman with thirty-plus years in sniffed, "Well, I only made $6000 my first year,". That's great. I bet you were a whopping $1500 in college debt, too. What was your rent? $70 a month? I'm no math prof, but gimme a fucking break.
